I just needed to change my email and check on a couple of orders, and it was straightforward. Logged in without any issues, found the settings where I expected them to be, and got it done. Nothing crazy or impressive, but it worked for what I needed.

I had to cancel an order and was a little worried about how long the refund would take, but macmillan.com got it back to me quickly. Nooo chasing, no long back-and-forth emails, it just showed up after a few days. Super happy with how smooth it was.

I used macmillan for my digital textbook this semester, it worked well once I actually found where to log in, which apparently needed to be a small adventure. The access code was easy enough to enter, and the book loaded fine on my laptop. I really liked being able to search through pages instead of flipping around forever like it’s still 2004. No major issues overall, just that first login moment was a little less obvious than it probably needed to be. Still, it ended up being really helpful for class.

"Finally, billing that didn’t mess me around"
I’m annoyed that so many companies make billing such a headache, but this one actually got it right. No random extra charges, no shady add-ons, nothing weird popping up. It was exactly what I expected, which really shouldn’t be this rare.

"Decent overall, but updates were slow"
It was okay overall, but the preorder updates took a while and I was kind of left wondering what was going on. Maybe they were waiting on the supplier or just had more orders than expected, I’m not really sure. I did eventually get the info I needed, but I wish they had communicated a bit faster.

The book ended up coming later than I expected, which was a bit frustrating. I kind of wish I’d ordered it earlier or known it would take that long. On the plus side, the tracking worked fine the whole time, so at least I could see where it was.

I bought the ebook and it opened right away in my Kindle app, and it worked on my phone too. No strange formatting issues or anything, which was all I was hoping for. Weird detail I remember: I downloaded it while eating a slightly melted granola bar, and by the time I was done, the book was already ready to read

The book showed up packed really nicely, like way better than I expected. No bent corners, no weird marks, and the box felt sturdy too. i was happy with it, though I guess it’s just packaging so not exactly life-changing

I ordered a book from macmillan.com and it showed up looking really good. Compared to a few other books I’ve ordered online, this one arrived in much better condition, no bent corners, no cover marks, and the pages were totally clean. The packaging wasn’t anything fancy, but it protected the book well enough. Overall, I’m happy with how it arrived...

Just a heads up for anyone on the fence: I’d be careful about passing this by too quickly. I actually trust the authors here since most of them are well-known names, and their writing is usually clear and easy to follow. That made me feel a lot more confident giving it a chance.

I was looking for a few Macmillan books and was relieved they actually had them in stock. I’ve dealt with sites where you add something to your cart and only then get hit with an out-of-stock message, which feels totally preventable. This was much smoother, and I got what I needed without any hassle

"Surprisingly smooth experience"
I’ll be honest, I usually don’t trust customer service to be all that helpful, so I wasn’t expecting much from macmillan. But they actually got back to me quickly and explained everything in a way that made sense. I didn’t have to keep going back and forth trying to figure out what they meant, which was a nice surprise.

I needed to use an access code for my class book, i was kind of expecting some random error or a whole annoying process. But it worked right away on macmillan. The steps were easy enough to follow, and I was into the online materials within a few minutes. Nothing super exciting here, it just did exactly what it was supposed to do.

"Shipping was kind of meh"
I ordered a book from macmillan.com and it did show up eventually, so that part was fine. It just took longer than I thought it would, and the tracking didn’t really update until later, which was a little annoying. Not a huge deal or anything, just one of those things where you’re checking and wondering what’s going on. I’d probably order again, but I wish the shipping was a bit quicker

Overall it’s fine, like I don’t really have any major complaints, but the tracking feels a bit over the top sometimes. It works, and I get why it’s there, but yeah, it made me pause a little. Besides that, the experience was decent enough.
